Trained at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and President of the esteemed Hollar Society of Czech Graphic Artists, Kulhánek rendered Dvořák’s image and “New World” Symphony artistic tributes in meticulous detail on lithographic stone in this unique composition. Only a few remain from the original 1995 edition, signed and numbered by the artist, who is renowned as the designer of the currency of the Czech Republic as well as for his outstanding portraits of historic national figures.
