The Dvořák American Heritage Association (DAHA), in association with Czech Center New York and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York, presents Filharmonie Brno Chamber Concert in Bohemian National Hall. Supported by the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association (BBLA).
The Filharmonie Brno Chamber Concert program in Bohemian National Hall is part of the Filharmonie Brno Philharmonic US tour 2023.
The featured outstanding musicians will present the music of Antonín Dvořák, Leoš Janáček, Bohuslav Martinů and Jan Novák, among others. Dennis Russell Davies, Filharmonie Brno Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, appears as piano soloist. He leads the full ensemble in their Carnegie Hall performance and in the US tour. Composer Laurie Anderson will join us as a special guest for this performance.

The concert is to be accompanied by the exhibition “Famous Czech Composers,” opening on Tuesday, February 7 at 6:30 pm at the Czech Center Gallery.
Filharmonie Brno will perform the following day, Wednesday, February 8, in Carnegie Hall.
